Limitless Wrestling Academy was founded by Michael Hayden in fall of 2015. Eager to help out the next generation of wrestlers, Hayden took five students under his wing and began to teach them all he could about wrestling. Marilyn Lee Cross was the first graduate, followed by Koji Uchiha, Daniel Greystone and Romeo Black. Due to a falling out with a fifth student, Hayden focused solely on these four as the cornerstones for Limitless.
As his students found some success and fame, more individuals came to sign up for training. This would explode into talent being trained, as Hayden and fellow trainers Shane Ayala and April Takahashi worked close with students to get them ready. More students graduated, entering the business and quickly establishing themelves in their respective companies.
Seeing a need to showcase talent, Hayden agreed to put on a Showcase Night featuring many of his students. September 2017 saw the first ever Limitless event, main evented by Hayden and his fellow trainers in a triple threat match. Recieving praise, many fans inquired when the next show would be. After discussing it amongst staff, Hayden decided to prominently start Limitless as a functioning promotion. January 2018 saw the first official event, titled "Ground Zero", featuring a card mainly made up of Limitless students. Only Erik Holland and Joe Stanton were outside talent, happy to lend a hand in shaping the next generation of talent.
Limitless would grow after that event, slowly featuring more and more outside talent. March 2018 saw their first double-header weekend, with "One Badd Day" and "Kingdom In The Sky" taking place back to back nights.

It was announced in Spring 2018 that there would be a round robin tournament to decide the first Limitless Champion, culminating at June's "Champion" event. Of the 12 who participated, it was Joe Stanton who would walk away with the victory, managing to defeat Clay Krueger and Erik Holland to become the first champion.
Limitless has continued to grow, even venturing out to Worcester, MA for their special "Coast To Coast" event.

In December 2018, it was announced that Limitless would include tag team titles, opening the doors for a massive tag team tournament that required another double header weekend. The two day tournament saw Team OVERKILL (Jacky Rex Daniels & Anna Mathews) defeat NO MERSEY (Gaz McGuinty & Nathan Wayne) in the finals to become the inaugural Limitless Tag Team Champions.
A brief hiatus after January's "Who Got Next?" event, Limitless returned in June for "This Means War".

The Imperial Beach Sports Complex is a modest building, just five miles away from the sand and sea. Able to house 200 fans comfortably, the venue often sees basketball tournaments as well as all sorts of youth activities. Rumor has it that Hayden is looking into renting another venue or even creating his own, though they remain rumors for now.

Limitless is not as flashy as many other promotions out there, choosing instead to focus on the in-ring aspect as well as promos. Limitless usually runs once a month, typically on Saturdays.

The Limitless Wrestling Academy is still active, continuing to work with students and prepare them for their wrestling career. There's been some rumors that we could see a smaller show much like Limitless when it first started, but for now Hayden is content to work with talent and develop them.
