Limitless Wrestling Academy Presents…
One Badd Day
March 10th, 2018
Pre-Show
- Rather than greeted by Michael Hayden, Marilyn Lee Cross and Battleborn’s Angel Torres were seen handling ticket sales & verification. They were joined by two of the current Limitless students, making the process run smoothly.
- The merchandise tables were abuzz before the show began, with The Badd Breed out in full effect. Holland, Misery, Valiente, Starr, Dream, Joe, and Izzy were all seen conversing with fans and posing for pictures. This seemingly drew the ire of Shoot Nation and Jake Archer, though they kept their distance.
- Kenneth James Bradford refused to interact with any of the Limitless fans. Instead, he forced one of the students to act as his personal assistant, demanding the student tell fans that KJB was unavailable for photos.
- Fans were buzzing as Migeru Takahashi and Aimi Jun appeared, the CWC: Japan stars being warmly welcomed by the San Diego faithful. Michael Hayden finally made his first appearance, escorting the two personally to their seats.

The Invitational
Drake (1-1) vs. Kenneth James Bradford (0-0)
The rookie Drake was greeted warmly by the Limitless faithful, receiving a small chant before the match began. Drake used the positive momentum from the fans to take control of the early portion of the match, looking to frustrate KJB and force him into making a mistake. Drake’s strong style ability looked to work against his opponent, until an attempt at a running knee strike was countered into a dragon screw. KJB began to zero in on the leg, wearing his opponent down with a variety of attacks and submissions. Drake found himself barely able to stand after the prolonged assault, struggling to mount offense against his larger opponent. After a thunderous spinebuster, KJB began to signal for the end, declaring that this was as good as done. As Drake got to his feet, KJB wrapped him up in the pumphandle position, looking to connect with the Heat Stroke (Pumphandle half-nelson driver). Before he could lift him, Drake broke the grip, managing to roll up KJB for a nearfall. Getting to his feet, Drake connected with several elbow strikes before a bicycle kick spun KJB around. Quickly, Drake wrapped KJB, looking to connect with Drake’s Landings (Ripcord C4). However, the damage done to his leg was too much to handle, with Drake crumpling to the mat in agony. KJB was quick to capitalize, stomping on the leg before delivering the Heat Stroke for the victory.
Result: Kenneth James Bradford (1-0) defeated Drake (1-2) at 9:47 via Heat Stroke
After the match, KJB took the mic to declare that this was simply step one in his takeover of Limitless Wrestling. He then declared that he expected tougher competition next month, as he had barely broken a sweat against the rookie.
The Invitational
Izzy Van Doren (0-0) vs. Ashley Cross (0-2)
In a rare showing, it was Ashley Cross who entered this match with something to prove, the young lady having lost her past two matches. As such, Ashley entered this match like a house on fire, overwhelming the former Rose City tag champion as soon as the bell rang. Determined to get a victory, Ashley began to put Izzy through the wringer, firing off several high-impact moves without giving her much time to rest. Looking to finish things early, Ash scaled the ropes, looking to connect with the Limit Push (Shadows Over Hell). As she leapt, Izzy found her opening, leaping high and connecting with a flatliner that left both women lying on the mat.
Pushing herself to her feet, Izzy ducked underneath a wild swing before connecting with a modified Russian Leg Sweep that only got a near fall. Undeterred, Izzy began to work over the neck, including a nasty reverse DDT that came close to ending the match. Sensing another loss drawing near, Ash began to fight back, desperate for a victory. A roaring elbow seemed to put Izzy down for the count, but rather than go for the cover, Ashley began to scale the ropes, determined to put her away for good. As she reached the top, Izzy made her way to her feet, delivering a strong headbutt that left Ash perched on the top rope. Grabbing on, Izzy delivered an elevated Adios Amigos! (Headlock Driver), making sure to drag Ashley from the ropes before getting the pinfall victory.
Result: Izzy Van Doren (1-0) defeated Ashley Cross (0-3) at 10:32 via Adios Amigos! (Headlock Driver)
Post-match, Ash seemed despondent, staring up at the lights with a blank look on her face. Pushing herself up, she gave a curt nod in Izzy’s direction before rolling out of the ring and shuffling off to the back.
The Invitational
The Badd Breed (Mr. Misery & El Valiente) (0-0) vs. Michael Hayden & ?? (0-0)
Hayden stood at the entrance way, eyes locked on Misery & Valiente as the sounds of “Fox on the Run” began to play, the fans cheering as Koji Uchiha stepped out to applause. Giving a nod to Hayden, Koji made his way to the ring, stopping in front of Migeru and Aimi. Koji merely sneered at Migeru before rolling into the ring, tossing his jacket at Migeru’s feet in a blatant show of disrespect. Hayden began to offer apologies as Koji rushed forward, tacking Misery to start the match.
Very quickly the match was dominated by the Badd Breed, both men dissecting the younger Uchiha with almost surgical precision. Any brief moments of offense from Koji were quickly stopped, either through the Breed regaining the advantage or Uchiha’s own brash nature. It wasn’t until late in the match that Koji fought his way back into things, reversing a suplex and hitting a Small Package Driver that left Valiente grabbing his neck in pain. Both men were able to make the tag, with Hayden rushing forward to deliver a dropkick that sent Misery to the mat. Valiente looked to come to his partner’s aid, only for Hayden to duck underneath the clothesline attempt before sending Valiente outside after a snap German Suplex. Letting out a roar, Hayden lifted Misery onto his shoulders, preparing to end this match on a high note. Misery slipped out from behind, connecting with a quick elbow that left Hayden stunned before a quick lariat took him down. Looking to end things, Misery knocked Koji off of the apron as Valiente rolled into the ring, the two circling Hayden as he slowly made it to his feet. Misery grabbed Hayden as Valiente rushed the ropes, the duo looking to connect with the Badd Day (Last Chapter). However, Koji managed to grab onto Valiente’s ankle, tripping him before dragging him outside. Inside the ring, Misery barely had time to react before Hayden spun him out, connecting with the Sagat Special (V-Trigger) before connecting with Haydenism (Dominator lift GTS) for the victory!
Result: Limitless (Michael Hayden & Koji Uchiha) (1-0) defeated The Badd Breed (Mr. Misery & El Valiente) (0-1) at 15:36 via Haydenism (Dominator lift GTS)
Post match, the fans began to applaud the efforts of all four men, with dueling chants of “Limitless” and “Badd Breed” ringing throughout the building. All four men shook hands in the center of the ring before the Breed rolled out, allowing Hayden and Koji to soak in the cheers from the crowd.
Intermission
Once again the Badd Breed table was swarmed with fans, as many congratulated Joe Stanton and Aaron Gresham on winning the Kamikaze Pro Tag Titles the previous night. Many also wished Holland luck in his match tomorrow at Elysium Pro, where he and Tiami Erickson would be taking on Enigma Protocol. Ashley Cross seemed not to notice anyone around her, keeping to herself as her sister Marilyn consoled her. Eagle eyed fans spotted Skye Healy talking with a few roster members, perhaps scheduling an interview for later in the night.
The Invitational
Starr (0-0) vs. El Aguila (0-1)
Much like last month, Aguila found himself across the ring from a fellow CWC: ACM competitor, and a former champion as well. Both men quickly engaged in a high-flying battle, both men countering and avoiding until coming to a stalemate that left the crowd speechless. Giving a nod to each other, Starr and Aguila popped to their feet, ready to do battle once more.
As the match progressed, Aguila seemed to up the viciousness of his attacks, slowly working over the neck in preparation for El Alambre (tilt-a-whirl crossface). After hitting Recuerdame (Poison Rana), Aguila positioned himself, waiting for Starr to make it to his feet. Rushing forward, Aguila leapt in the air, only to be brought down with a reverse atomic drop. Starr quickly fired off a roundhouse kick, knocking Aguila down with Starr falling moments later. The ref began his count, getting as far as four before Starr sprung to his feet, pausing to bow before the crowd before turning to Aguila. The crowd began to buzz as Aguila made it to a kneeling position, barely able to duck underneath the superkick attempt. However, Starr continued with his momentum, bouncing off the ropes before blasting Aguila with the John Wilkes Boot (Yakuza Kick to the back of the head). Taking no chances, Starr connected with the Shooting Starr Press to claim the victory in his debut.
Result: Starr (1-0) defeated El Aguila (0-2) at 8:52 via Shooting Starr Press
Tag Team Match
Smokin’ Joe & The Electric Dream Machine (Joe Stanton & Aaron Gresham) (1-0) vs. Shoot Nation (1-0)
Shoot Nation were clearly upset with the way the Champion’s Gauntlet had gone in Kamikaze Pro, looking to take out their frustrations on the new champs. Gresham was the unlucky one, quickly being isolated as Maverick and Ice Man went to work. Targeting the left leg, they began to dissect the former Dream, wearing him down with several submissions, almost surgical in their precision. Within six minutes, Gresham was hardly able to stand, the ref almost calling for the bell before Gresham assured him that he could continue. Shoot Nation took this as a challenge, continuing to do damage to the leg while taunting Stanton at nearly every opportunity. In an almost cruel punishment, they whipped Gresham into the ropes, looking for a double back body drop. As Gresham came back, he paused before looking around, almost unsure of what to do. With a shrug, Gresham sidestepped the duo before leaping forward, tagging in Joe!
The roar of the crowd alerted the two of something going on, turning around into a double clothesline from the Guy In Shades. Quickly tossing Maverick to the outside. Joe and Ice Man engaged in a wild brawl, throwing as many fists as possible in an attempt to stagger the other man. Joe got the better exchange, throwing a vicious haymaker that spun Ice Man 180 degrees. Stanton quickly called Gresham over, both men looking to connect with Hopes and Dreams (Double Regalplex). However, Maverick made his return, chop blocking Gresham and preventing the move. Maverick and Ice Man double teamed Stanton before setting him up for the Top Flight (Doomsday Device). Maverick climbed the ropes, only for Gresham to throw himself at the last second and send Maverick crashing to the mats on the outside. Gresham then delivered a Nicaraguan Kick, crumbling to the mat in agony as Ice Man stumbled backward, only for Stanton to connect with a victory roll for the three count.
Result: Smokin’ Joe & The Electric Dream Machine (2-0) defeated Shoot Nation (1-1) at 18:28 via Nicaraguan Kick/Victory Roll
Post match, Gresham was helped to his feet by Joe and the ref, still in a considerable amount of pain. The two slowly made their way to the back as Shoot Nation came to, loudly swearing and threatening to take the Kamikaze Tag Belts one way or another.
Main Event
Erik Holland (1-0) vs. Clay Kruger (1-0)
You could tell this was no ordinary match or even a regular main event, as Holland and Kruger both stood in their respective corners as the fans buzzed with anticipation. As ring announcer Arya Stone announced each man, streamers were thrown in respect for the two competitors, though neither man to his eye off of the other. Much of the competitors came out to watch as the streamers were cleared, the bell officially sounding.
Both men are certainly no strangers to one another, given the wars that Team FIW had with the Coulter Crew back in the first half of 2017. Clearly they both remembered, as the opening minutes were filled with brawling akin to a bar fight. The effects of the past few days on the Kamikaze Pro tour seemed to have taken their toll on Kruger, slowing him down and allowing Holland to take control. Knowing that his Breed allies Starr, Joe, and Gresham had secured the victory, he looked to do the same, punishing Clay with heavy blows and slams. However, Clay is still a dangerous opponent, managing to duck underneath Plan 9 From Outer Space (Superman Punch) and launch the massive Holland across the ring with a Strike Back (Overhead Belly to Belly) that drew a massive cheer from the fans.
Getting to his feet, Clay eschewed any typical scientific breakdown, choosing to inflict as much damage as possible instead. Clay began to work over the arm, utilizing his vast knowledge to damage the limb as much as possible. It was as Clay was setting up for a hammerlock move that Holland struck, spinning out before delivering a big boot that left Clay open for the Plan 9 From Outer Space. Realizing his moment had come, Holland dragged Kruger up before placing him on his shoulders, eager to hit the Toxic Avenger. Clay sensed this and began to hit several elbows, looking to avoid the deadly maneuver. Clay was able to get Holland down to a knee, but much like last month, Holland shrugged off the blows before rising to his feet once more. In a last ditch attempt, Clay grabbed onto the damaged left arm, pulling back and forcing Holland back to his knees. From there, Clay delivered a jumping armbreaker that left Holland on the ground in pain. As he got to his feet, Holland had the air driven out of him after a Chainsaw Blade that seemed to wipe out Kruger as well as Holland. Somehow both men made it to their feet, only for another Chainsaw Blade to take him down before Kruger hit the End of the World for the three.
Result: Clay Kruger (2-0) defeated Erik Holland (1-1) at 28:52 via End of the World (Starship Pain)
Both men continued to lay on the mat as the bell rang, the match having taken its toll on both competitors. Mr. Misery, Valiente, Starr, Joe Stanton, and Aaron Gresham came to check on Holland as Hayden came to check on Clay, both men exhausted after their ordeal. Holland made it to his feet under his own power, giving a nod to Clay before stating he was looking forward to another match between the two. Clay only offered a smirk before The Breed left the ring, letting the fans shower Clay in applause.
Post Show
- The fans were quick to visit the merch tables, where Holland was willing to meet with fans despite going almost thirty minutes moments before. KJB continued to have one of the students reject fans for him, loudly declaring that this was only the beginning of his ascension to the top of Limitless. Migeru Takahashi and Aimi Jun made time for a few fans before an altercation with Koji Uchiha took place. Although it didn’t come to blows, Koji was heard sarcastically welcoming Migeru to Limitless before stating that he was going to prove Migeru wouldn’t last long anyways. Before it could escalate any further, Michael Hayden intervened, escorting the two away after demanding Koji leave.
