We cut backstage to find Zoey Lukas standing face on to the camera, her hands together as she rolls her wrists with a smirk on her face.
Zoey Lukas: Limitless Wrestling. Kind of an apt name if I'm being honest. See, that is what I am, limitless. I am almost six feet tall, I am a mix of power, skill, speed, athletic ability and youth that no one has ever seen. In the last year or so I have taken the wrestling world by storm. Not that my opponent tonight Miroel Gyro would really know. See she even said it on social media, she didn't even know who I was yet she and my older sister Alicia have gone to war before. But apparently she doesn't know me? I have been all over the world and all over social media in the last year, winning rookie of the year awards and participating in some of the most high profile tournaments wrestling has ever seen....
Zoey pauses for a moment and laughs under her breath.
Zoey Lukas: But what has Miroel done? See Miroel was in WWH, she won a title under...shady...circumstances and then has bounced from company to company never reaching those same lofty heights. And tonight? Well tonight will be no different. See Miroel is not going to pull the same shit here as she has in other places.
She steps forward tilting her head.
Zoey Lukas: My name is Zoey Lukas. I am the Goddamazon, I am limitless and this company is about to have a new top star, a new face of the franchise, a new top player. This company needs to be elevated to that next level, and Limitless and myself as it's top star and future champion?...that is a match made in wrestling heaven baby...
Zoey laughs to herself as the screen cuts back to the ring.
THE INVITATIONAL - Singles Match Zoey Lukas vs. Miroel Giroux Zoey kicked Miroel out of the ring after the match, declaring she wasn't fit to stand in the ring. Standing tall, Zoey looked out into the crowd before raising one finger, noting that she was just getting started in Limitless.

Tag Team Match NO MERSEY (Gaz McGuinty & Nathan Wayne) vs. The Mighty Now Thrive (Null & Kid Terra)
Despite the bell ringing, NO MERSEY continued their attack, tossing Terra to the outside before continuing to attack Null. Another chair shot followed before NO MERSEY locked in Shanks and the Paisley (Shankly Gates/Sharpshooter). Several students tried to pry them off of the hapless Null, but NO MERSEY refused to budge, even locking in their respective holds tighter. It was only when Battleborn entered the ring that NO MERSEY let go of the hold, sliding out of the ring. Firing off several threats to Battleborn, Gaz and Nathan made their way to the back as the ring crew helped Null and Terra.

Walking into the arena is Limitless' newest star Diego Alejandro Matias who is walking in with his sister and rising star in her own right Daya Matias. A camera crew meets the siblings who were both dressed like superstars despite them both being relatively early in their careers. Diego raises up his glasses and starts speaking…
Diego Matias: Oh so sorry….no speaks Ingles.
Daya snaps her head towards the side to stare at her brother like he was insane as Diego and her walked away from the cameras.
Daya Matias: What was that about?
Daya raises one eyebrow as she attempts to keep up with her brother’s fast strides. Diego slows down just a tad for his sister to keep up.
Diego Matias: I didn't like the way they approached us. Besides they obviously don't pay attention to me on Twitter because they would know how full of shit I am saying I don't speak English. See where I'm getting at?
Daya shakes her head a little bit even though there’s a slightly amused expression on her face.
Daya Matias: You’re clever sometimes hermano.
This time another camera crew approached them. Once again Diego puts up his hands and begins to act like he doesn't speak English.
Diego Matias: No habla ingles amigos.
One of the people in the group speaks up.
Reporter: But Mr. Matias you write in perfect English on Twitter? Are you saying you have someone else running your Twitter account? Look we just want to know what is your mindset is for your debut here in Limitless Wrestling here tonight. This has been a long time coming for you.
Diego looks at Daya who reads him like a book. She knew he wanted to use the someone runs his Twitter account suggestion. He tries to convince her through the look on his face. Daya quickly understands what he’s trying to say as she steps forward in front of the reporter.
Daya Matias: I’m the one who runs his Twitter account and there’s no need to question what his mindset is going into his match tonight. He’s born ready.
Daya turns her head slightly to look over towards her brother before she focuses back on the reporter with a confident smirk on her face.
Daya Matias: The fact that you even need to ask shows that you don’t know Diego at all and I can’t blame him for being offended right now. How dare you step up to him like this!
Diego nods his head as he begins speaking in Spanish
Diego Matias: ¿Me pides y me preguntas si estoy listo para mi debut sin límites? He estado hablando de lo ilimitado que soy desde el día en que firmé con Limitless
The crew had no idea what he was saying but out of respect they didn't ask him to speak English. Diego looks at his sister as she just shakes her head.
Diego Matias: Mi hermana....has been showing how limitless she has been all over the country. She's one of the fastest rising stars in this business along with the Mimicita. It's time for big brother to finally show what he can do. So tonight….Erik Holland?
Diego takes off his sunglasses and stares into the camera.
Diego Matias: Eres un gran luchador. Sin embargo, esta noche estás tomando demasiada determinación mi amigo. Tonight a whole new meaning to limitless is going to hit you in the face. Tonight the Matias era begins. Adios amigos.
Diego smiles as Daya smirks into the camera as they both walk away and the scene fades to blank
Singles Match Diego Alejandro Matias vs. Erik Holland
Holland stood triumphantly after the match, looking on as Diego rolled out of the ring. Peering over the ropes, Holland noted that he evened the score between them before continuing to celebrate his victory.

The cameras go backstage to find Limitless Champion hopeful Harley Torres in mid-preparation for his major match tonight. He’s managed to nestle himself in a barren corridor of the Imperial Beach Sports Complex where he’s only idly stretching at the point, more so focusing on mentally preparing himself. That all falls apart when he’s approached by interviewer Toby Bostock and his cameraman Jorge. I’m not sure who is filming the cameraman, but we can see him hidden behind his camera.
Toby: “HARLEY! It’s so good to see you again!”
Harley takes a moment to look Toby over, flashing that look of vague recognition for the blonde man. He isn’t quite sure where to place him, yet he knows that he knows him… obviously, due to Toby’s greeting.
Toby: “It’s me! Toby! From FIW!”
The figurative light bulb goes off over Harley’s head and he nods while pointing at Toby.
Harley: “Right! Yeah. I knew you looked familiar. We didn’t talk much, did we?”
Toby shakes his head with a grimace.
Toby: “Not really. You always had that handheld camera and cut your own promos. Plus, you didn’t like Magic.”
Harley: “Oh yeah. The card game that you used to play. I wasn’t a fan of the graphics.”
Toby looks down at the deck in his pocket with a frown. He has to wonder to himself if Harley is insulting the artwork or if he literally didn’t like playing because it wasn’t a video game.
Harley: “But I’m glad you brought up FIW because it’s part of what’s been on my mind when it comes to ‘our’ champion.”
Harley makes actual air quotes with his fingers and rolls his eyes when he refers to Joe Stanton as “our” champion.
Toby: “That’s actually what I’m here for. You tweeted that you were going to keep your mouth shut and say what’s on your mind here tonight. I was hoping I could be the one you could say it to!”
Harley nods and shrugs his head, not looking too concerned about who it is that breaks the story.
Harley: “Here’s the deal. I’m going to make it real simple. There has been a lot of talk about Joe Stanton lately… ironically, it’s the only talk about him for a long time. But that’s not important. Joe Stanton checked out a long time ago. Joe Stanton gave up on Limitless a long time ago. Why Limitless took this long to give him any real competition is a bigger mystery than where Joe Stanton is. And do you know why that’s the bigger mystery, Tobes?”
Toby thinks about it for a moment, but he isn’t sure at all. He shakes his head in case this wasn’t clear.
Harley: “Because nobody cares where Joe Stanton is. They do care about why Limitless has been catering to him for a long time now. Let’s be honest. Joe Stanton was never a big name. He was never a big deal. He tooled around in a few small time feds and then he tried to make himself a major star by literally signing with any company that would take him. But did he really accomplish anything? No. He didn’t. Good ole AMERICAN DREAM JOE STANTON!”
Harley puts on an over-exaggerated Southern accent when he refers to Joe as the “American Dream”.
Harley: “He got himself booted out of Lion’s Road. Let’s not even get into the debacle that was Kamikaze Pro. We’ll just say, the rumors are that Joe Stanton never earned anything and I’d have to agree and disagree with that statement.”
He promptly puts a hand up to halt Toby from coming forth with the obvious “Why?” that is bound to come with Harley saying he also disagrees with the rumors downplaying Stanton’s accomplishments.
Harley: “At the end of the day, I’ve been in numerous companies with Joe Stanton. CCW, NGIW, FIW… I think those are the only ones, but I might be missing one or two. He was a big deal in NGIW and then when he came to FIW after the majority of the competition had moved on, he ended up becoming a big deal there too. Whether or not he earned his accomplishments are debatable. What I feel as one of his peers is that in NGIW and FIW, Joe Stanton waved their flags proudly. Often too proudly to the point of cringe or stepping on the toes of others who were doing it better than him, but that’s my own personal distaste for him starting to show through.”
Harley shrugs his shoulders, but at least recognizes that some of his memories might be skewed by a lack of fondness for the individual.
Harley: “Since Joe Stanton has come to Limitless… sure, he waved the flag to get his foot in the door. He waved the flag to get himself another title opportunity. But since then, he’s been a certifiable piece of shit and if I can’t say that on camera then you’re going to have to get the censors to bleep it out. Because that’s exactly what Joe Stanton Limitless Champion is.”
Toby has fallen completely silent at this point, unsure of his place in this interview. Harley isn’t looking for questions, and Toby isn’t the type of professional to jump on a talent bashing wagon.
Harley: “Joe Stanton has proven that he represents companies that he believes in. He did it in NGIW and FIW. He did it with Kamikaze Pro. He hasn’t done it with Limitless. The fact that he’s the first and longest reigning champion is sickening to me. It hurts the reputation of Limitless. And I know that when Joe Stanton decides to stroll back onto social media like nothing ever happened, he’ll brag about this. And when he does, it’ll be for Joe Stanton; not to increase the visibility of Limitless. Because if he cared about Limitless, he’d be acknowledge the company outside of getting paid for a match. If he cared about Limitless, he’d let his memory in this company die so that people don’t associate a piece of literal garbage with a school and company that gives actual talent a place to grow and flourish.”
Harley hesitates a moment, biting his lip as his growing anger starts to simmer down a little due to the thought pushing into his head. He looks down at his clenched fist and pushes out a slow breath before continuing on.
Harley: “Exactly seven months ago… November 16th… I tried to take my life. I lived in darkness for so long that I thought it was where I belonged. Michael Hayden traveled over two thousand miles to help me. He brought one of my best friends to me, a friend that Joe Stanton has continuously cast aside and then roped back in every time it was convenient for him. Joe Stanton is not a good person. Joe Stanton is not a worthy champion. He’s a cancer to this company. He LIMITS this company.”
Harley pauses and takes a moment to recompose himself, taking a breath as he brushes all those negative thoughts away.
Harley: “Jana Rikar and Honey are talent. They’re here because they believe in Limitless. They’re here because, like me, they want this company to be put on the map. They aren’t here just for a paycheck and to add a title their collection; an accolade to their name. I’m excited to share the ring with them tonight. I’m hopeful that the three of us can discard the useless but necessary addition to this match and have actual competitors in the ring to decide a championship worthy of being all over social media to bring prestige and attention to a place that has saved my life.”
Harley grabs his t-shirt draped over a nearby equipment case and holds it up to show the back to the camera. The design on the back reads “The SHARK will fight” with a cancer ribbon stylizing it.
Harley: “I choose the lavender ribbon because it encompasses the fight against all forms of cancer.”
Finally, Harley sprouts a huge grin on his face that shows off his pearly whites and puts a twinkle in those usually carefree eyes.
Harley: “I’m not the same man that Joe Stanton passed in the halls of FIW. But he’s not the same man either. One of us got better and grew as a person. And that’s why I’m taking his title from him tonight. I may not walk out with it, but he won’t either.”
Harley throws a shirt over his shoulder and walks off without waiting for Toby to respond.
MAIN EVENT LIMITLESS TITLE MATCH Joe Stanton (c) vs. Jana Rikar vs. Honey vs. Harley Torres
Honey was just a second too late in breaking up the pin, looking on as Harley jumped to his feet. The crowd roared as Harley jumped onto the turnbuckles, celebrating his victory as Arya Stone made it official. Receiving the Limitless Title from Hayden himself, the two shared another hug before Hayden exited the ring, letting Harley soak in the moment. Honey congratulated the new champion, as did Jana Rikar as she made her way to her feet. Both made their way to the back as Harley exited the ring, celebrating his victory with the fans as the show drew to a close.
