Pre-Show
- Much like the previous show, Michael Hayden was once again seen verifying pre-sold tickets and handling walk-ups. However, this time he was joined by Romeo Black, who helped make the process much quicker.
- The merchandise tables were set up once more, with Joe Stanton commanding a lot of attention. Erik Holland’s line was almost as long, with the leader of the Badd Breed joking with fans and posing for pictures. Ashley Cross was also quite popular, with several female fans gushing over the young competitor.

The Invitational
Drake (0-1) vs. Wily Etnies (0-0)
The rookie Drake seemed a little more confident than he did last month, taking the fight to the more seasoned Etnies immediately. Looking to wear down his opponent, Drake tried to hit a German Suplex, only for the brawler to elbow his way out and connect with a headlock driver for a nearfall. It was there that Wily took over, using his smash mouth style to wear down the young rookie. A running powerbomb into the corner looked as though it would be the end, but Drake dug deep, managing to kick out at the last second. Enraged, Wily grabbed Drake, looking to hit the Sole Food. As he twisted the arm, Drake suddenly pulled him forward, connecting with a cutter. Realizing this was the opening he needed, Drake delivered a running knee, stunning Etnies long enough Drake to connect with Drake’s Landings (Ripcord C4), surprising the crowd and getting the win.
Result: Drake (2-0) defeated Wily Etnies (0-1) at 9:18 via Drake’s Landings
Rather than Drake’s music playing, “I Love Myself” by The Wannadies began to play as an unfamiliar man stepped out behind the curtain. Introducing himself as Kenneth James Bradford, he declared that he was the newest member of the Limitless roster. And as such, he was going to prove that he was the best, starting by challenging the lowest member of the roster to a match next month! Drake simply nodded his head, accepting the challenge.
Tag Team Match
Shoot Nation (Maverick & Ice Man) (0-0) vs. Daniel Greystone & Marilyn Lee Cross
There was a lot of bad blood heading to this one, as Greystone had a score to settle with his one-time teammates after they left him high and dry during their match. Having not forgotten this slight, Greystone attacked during their entrance, blindsiding Maverick with a chop block before focusing his attack on Ice Man. Marilyn was shocked at her partner’s viciousness, choosing instead to move to the corner as Greystone launched Ice Man into the ringpost. Inside the ring, Greystone seemed determined to finish this early, connecting with a shinbreaker before a back suplex got a close two-count. Undeterred, Greystone focused on the damaged leg, wearing it down with various submissions as MLC seemed uncomfortable on the apron. Weathering the storm, Maverick was able to find an opening after an attempt at the figure four, kicking Greystone into the corner before making the tag.
Ice Man went to work, punishing Greystone for his actions earlier by looking to weaken his left arm. Shoot Nation began to dominate the match, punishing Greystone for his actions. Looking to end this one early, Shoot Nation looked to finish this one off as Ice Man began to climb the ropes. However, Greystone fought out of Maverick’s hold before shoving him into the corner and making the tag. Cross came in like a house of fire, connecting with several forearms before hitting a big Nicaraguan Kick to the delight of the crowd. As she began to prepare for the Mary Go Round (Discus Boot), Ice Man attacked with a double axe handle, prompting Greystone to get back in the fray once more. With all four competitors fighting it out, the ref didn’t see Maverick connect with a low blow to Greystone before rushing over and sending MLC to the outside with a clothesline. With Greystone alone, Shoot Nation were able to overwhelm him before connecting with Shoot ‘Em for the victory.
Result: Shoot Nation (1-0) defeated Daniel Greystone & Marilyn Lee Cross (0-1) at 11:47 via Shoot ‘Em (Death Sentence)
Shoot Nation celebrated their victory while the fans began to boo, unhappy with the result. Surprisingly, Maverick and Ice Man saved their taunting solely for Greystone, shrugging at MLC and stating that she “was just a casualty”. This didn’t sit well with Cross, but she ignored it and helped Greystone to the back.
There was a tense moment as Battleborn made their entrance as Shoot Nation was leaving, the two teams staring one another down for a few tense seconds. Several of the students, as well as Battleborn’s manager Kelly Noelle, separated the two teams before the situation could escalate. As Battleborn continued to the ring, Michael Hayden was seen speaking to Shoot Nation as they made their way to the back.
Tag Team Match
Battleborn (James Price & Angel Torres) (0-0) vs. Spectral Greatness (Spectre & Jake Archer) (0-0)
Battleborn entered this match with an air of confidence, the size advantage clearly on their side. Let it never be said that Jake Archer is lacking confidence, as he squared up with the larger Price before connecting with a sharp backhand. Price charged forward, battering the self-proclaimed GOAT before being separated by the ref. As this happened, Archer connected with a thumb to the eye before surprisingly taking control. Archer and Spectre used a combination of speed and blatant cheating to keep the big man away from his partner, always able to prevent the tag being made. As Archer looked to connect with a springboard crossbody, Price was able to catch him in mid-air before tossing him at the charging Spectre, wiping both men out before he made the tag.
Torres began to assert his dominance, tossing Spectre and Archer with ease as James recuperated on the outside. In an impressive display, Torres lifted both men, crushing Archer with a Samoan Drop and flinging Spectre across the ring with a fallaway slam. Looking to end this, Torres picked Archer up for the Freak of Nature (Jacknife Powerbomb), only for Archer to slip out before connecting with a Superkick. Torres began to wobble, prompting another Superkick that left him barely standing. Letting out a scream, Archer connected with a superkick to the knee before calling Spectre over, the duo connecting with a tandem Superkick that finally felled the big man. Before they could celebrate, Price came rushing into the ring, connecting with a huge Pounce that sent Archer crashing to the mat before rolling outside. Turning his attention to Spectre, Price narrowly blocked the mist, grabbing Spectre before planting him with a thunderous spinebuster. Once Torres got to his feet, Battleborn drove Spectre down with the Force of Nature for the victory.
Result: Battleborn (1-0) defeated Spectral Greatness (0-1) at 9:57 via Force of Nature (Grand Amplitude)
Post match, Archer threw a tantrum on the outside before pulling Spectre out of the ring. Archer began yelling at the students, demanding they carry Spectre to the back as he vowed this wouldn’t go unpunished.
The Invitational
Harley Torres (0-0) vs. El Aguila (0-0)
Both men were cheered early on, as a “ACM” chant began to the delight of both competitors. Sharing a handshake, the two began to put on an impressive display of lucha libre, flying around the ring with ease. An impressive back and forth saw the two end in a stalemate, eliciting cheers from the crowd and a surprised look from Harley while Aguila simply smiled as he bounced in place. Nodding his head, Harley looked to outmaneuver the young luchador, drawing on his big match experience from ACM to give him a slight edge. Several moments saw Aguila look to overpower his opponent, but Harley would dig deep each time, stuffing the attempt at a comeback. Harley looked to block another attempt with a crossbody, but Aguila rolled with the move, connecting with a flipping bodyslam that left the crowd buzzing.
Finally on the offensive, Aguila looked to make the most of this, lighting up Harley with several strikes before connecting with Animo (Springboard Reverse DDT) for a two count. Undeterred, Aguila scaled the ropes, leaping back with a modified Christ Air (no look leaping plancha) that sent both men to the mat. Popping to his feet, Aguila began to pump the crowd up before running the ropes, only to be brought down with a headscissor takedown from the former Azteca Champion. Aguila looked to get back to his feet, only to be surprised with a dropkick that knocked him down. With a smile, Harley lifted Aguila up before looking to connect with the Kick Stand (Pele Kick), only for Aguila to catch the foot! Aguila quickly placed Harley in a wheelbarrow position, looking to hit another high-impact move, only for Harley to catch everyone by surprise by turning it into a stunner. Aguila was left reeling after the impressive counter, allowing Harley to connect with the Cycle City for the win in an impressive match.
Result: Harley Torres (1-0) defeated El Aguila (0-1) at 10:32 via Cycle City (Rope-assisted Tornado DDT)
Post match, Harley helped Aguila to his feet, the two receiving applause from the crowd. The two shared a hug before Aguila raised Harley’s hand in victory to cheers from the audience. With a bow, Aguila left the ring, allowing Harley his moment of glory.
Intermission
Once again the majority of the crowd swarmed Joe Stanton and Erik Holland’s merch tables, the two clearly enjoying interacting with fans. When asked about his partner’s whereabouts, Joe simply said that Dream had “something big” planned for his entrance and wanted to make sure everything went right. Harley Torres and the rookie Drake also received a good amount of fans, with Drake stating that he would take care of Kenneth James Bradford next month for sure.
Special Challenge Match
Michael Hayden (1-0) vs. “Chainsaw” Clay Krueger (0-0)
From the moment Hayden’s music hit the speakers, the crowd was buzzing with anticipation over seeing these two go at it. The buzz only grew once Clay stepped foot from behind the curtain, his eyes burning a hole through his opponent. Once the pre match introductions were finished, Hayden and Krueger stood inches away from one another, neither man willing to yield. The two began to trade insults until Krueger caught everyone off guard, stunning Hayden with a headbutt that sent the Limitless founder staggering back. Clay followed up with a Chainsaw Blade early, Hayden rolling out of the ring to avoid the quick loss. The veteran instincts kicked in as Clay went outside, stomping away at Hayden rather than allowing him a moment to recover. Lifting Hayden up, Clay began to slap him before positioning him for the Strike Back (Overhead Belly to Belly). However, Hayden would block the move before connecting with several shots to the head, forcing Clay to release his grip and stumble back. Knowing he had to get back into the match, Hayden sprinted forward, connecting with the Sagat Special (Running Knee). Both men were able to break the 20 count, with Krueger making it just in time.
Hayden began to work over Krueger, looking to weaken the shoulder in preparation for the Limitless Lock. It was as he went for a shoulder breaker that Clay was able to turn the tide, slipping out behind him and immediately connecting with Goodnight Irene (Zig Zag). Krueger began to employ the same strategy Hayden used, choosing to work over the midsection for another Chainsaw Blade. Krueger looked to finish things off after connecting with the Strike Back that launched Hayden across the ring. Positioning himself in the corner, Krueger looked to hit the End of the World, only for Hayden to draw the knees up at the last possible moment. As Krueger got to his feet, Hayden rushed forward, throwing caution to the wind as he delivered a running crossbody that took Clay down. Hayden wasn’t done, connecting with several forearms before dragging Clay to his feet. Hooking the arm, Hayden cinched in the Limitless Lock, trying to force Clay down to the mat. Thinking quickly, Clay rushed toward the turnbuckles, ducking at the last minute and sending Hayden headfirst into the turnbuckle. Stumbling back, Hayden was wide open for a Chainsaw Blade that took him down. Clay didn’t take any chances, delivering the End of the World for the victory.
Result: Clay Krueger (1-0) defeated Michael Hayden (1-1) at 16:29 via End of the World (Split-Legged Corkscrew Moonsault)
Both men laid on the mat for a few seconds, the effects of the match having taken its toll. Clay was the first to his feet, the audience applauding the Hall of Famer. Hayden pushed himself up to a kneeling position, looking up at Clay before giving him a respectful nod. Rolling out of the ring, Hayden made his way to the back as Clay was bathed in cheers from the fans.
Special Challenge Match
Erik Holland (0-0) vs. Ashley “Ash” Cross (0-1)
Last month, Ash came up short against Joe Stanton after seemingly having the match in hand. Having something to prove, she began the match by rushing Holland, attacking him with several rights and lefts. As she bounced off the ropes, Holland blasted her with a bicycle kick, shaking off the effects of her attack. As Holland lifted her up, the audience saw a noticeable cut that appeared on her forehead. Rather than take it easy, Holland delivered several punches, opening the wound up before a clothesline took her back down. Holland wound continue the attack, looking to weaken the Limitless standout. It was when Holland went for the Move From Another World that Ash was able to slip out, immediately firing off a Poison Rana that left both on the mat.
Fighting her way to a standing position, Ash began to take it to the leader of the Badd Breed, using the same hit-and-run strategy that served her well against Joe. After a running European Uppercut sent Holland down, Ash climbed the ropes, delivering Bob-Bomb’s Away (Cannonball Splash) for a two. Feeling the momentum, Ashley climbed the top rope, signalling for the Limit Push (Shadows Over Hell). As Ashley leapt off, Holland caught her, putting her in position for the Toxic Avenger (Attitude Adjustment). Ash tried fighting out, delivering several elbows to the side of the head. Holland fought through the pain, letting out a roar before hitting the Toxic Avenger for an emphatic three.
Result: Erik Holland (1-0) defeated Ashley Cross (0-2) at 14:48 via Toxic Avenger (Attitude Adjustment)
Main Event
Tag Team Match
Smokin’ Joe & The Electric Dream Machine (Joe Stanton & The Dream) (0-0) vs. Neon Generation (“Neon Tiger” Romeo Black & “PIRATE BOSS” Koji Uchiha) (0-0)
The Neon Generation were the first team out, the duo of Romeo Black and Koji Uchiha looking confident as they awaited their opponents. Rather than come out as a unit, Joe Stanton was out first, a smile on his face as “I’m Still Standing” began to play. After 10 seconds, the music cut out, only to be replaced by “Mr. Brightside” by The Killers as The Dream made his way out to raucous cheers from the fans. Announced as “Aaron Gresham”,
Though it had been almost a month since Gresham stepped foot inside a ring, he seemed at ease, trading holds with Romeo before nearly getting the quick win after a bit of Shenanigans. The fun stopped after Romeo was able to make the tag, as the younger Uchiha stopped Gresham with a solid right across the jaw. Blending technical and brawling, Koji worked over Gresham, almost toying with him at certain points whereas Romeo looked to simply wear him down. The duo went for a double clothesline, only for Gresham to duck underneath before connecting with a double dropkick that sent the Neon Generation down.
Making the tag, Stanton entered like a house on fire, taking it to his opponents. Koji was sent to the outside following a clothesline, only for Joe to follow after a spinning kick from Romeo. Bouncing off the ropes, Romeo sailed over the top rope, taking down Joe with a plancha. Not to be left out, Aaron climbed the turnbuckle before launching himself onto all three men with a crossbody that elicited cheers from the crowd. Getting to his feet, Gresham tossed Romeo in the ring before picking him up and placing him in a ripcord position. As he spun Romeo out, Koji appeared out of nowhere, connecting with a double axe handle from behind. Sharing a nod, Romeo scaled the turnbuckles as Koji lifted Gresham onto his shoulders in an electric chair position. Before Romeo could connect with anything, Joe reappeared, shoving Romeo off the turnbuckle and onto the floor below. Gresham slipped behind Koji, grabbing his arm before hitting a Ripcord Knee that sent Koji crumpling to the ground. From there, the Sound of Silence was all that could be heard as the ref made the three count.
Result: Smokin’ Joe & The Electric Dream Machine defeated Neon Generation at 23:02 via Sound of Silence (Running Elbow/Curb Stomp Combo)
Post match, Gresham took the microphone, thanking all the fans in attendance before formally introducing himself as Aaron Gresham. He mentioned how it had been a while since he stepped foot inside a ring, and it was the first time he had done so without his mask. And while he was incredibly nervous, it was the first step in reclaiming his identity as a wrestler. Being by his best friend’s side, performing in front of these fans, he couldn’t have asked for a better return. He finished by thanking the fans and promising he would return.
Post-Show
- Smokin’ Joe and the Electric Dream Machine went straight to the merch booth after Gresham’s promo, a smile on both men’s faces as they interacted with fans. The Cross Sisters weren’t able to stay for too long due to catching a flight for tomorrow’s Rose City Wrestling event, though they were able to take a few photos (with Ash’s face clear of blood). Koji and Shoot Nation were noticeably absent, as was Jake Archer and Spectre, though there was enough talent available that they weren’t terribly missed.
- Izzy Van Doren was in attendance, hanging out with Joe and Aaron and taking a select amount of photos. Hayden was seen interacting with a few fans, choosing instead to talk with Drake and Harley Torres as fans began to file out.
