The Invitational
Daniel Greystone (0-0) vs. Yoji Kojima (0-0)
While Greystone may have entered this match with a clean singles record, he had something to prove tonight, having gone winless in his last two outings. Similarly, Yoji Kojima was completely focused, the junior member of the esteemed Dogs of War ready to prove himself in unfamiliar territory. As such, both men went different routes, as Greystone looked for the kill while Yoji waited for the perfect moment to strike the final blow. It looked as though the damage from Greystone had been too much for Yoji, the big powerhouse of Limitless looking to deliver the final blow with the Shades of Grey (Spinning Powerbomb). As he began to rotate, Yoji quickly dropped to his feet before landing an desperate Codebreaker that took down the big man. Wasting no time, Yoji bounced off the ropes, leaping high into the air before coming down with the Gaijin Killer (Curb Stomp) for the victory.
Result: Yoji Kojima (1-0) defeated Daniel Greystone (0-1) at 9:12 via Gaijin Killer (Curb Stomp)
Post match, several students came rushing into the ring with towels and water, as Greystone’s face was covered in a green substance. Yoji merely looked on, a smile on his face before disappearing to the back before Greystone knew what had happened.
Special Challenge Match
Spectre (0-1) vs. Romeo Black (1-0)
These two men had a brief run-in with one another at the first Limitless show “Ground Zero”, with Romeo rushing to Koji Uchiha’s aid after Spectre and Jake Archer attacked him. Neither man seemed to have forgotten this, with both men accompanied by their respective partners. This led for several tense moments, as Archer looked to assault Romeo on the outside only to be stopped by Koji several times. However, Koji’s continued annoyance with Migeru led to him missing Archer’s assault several times throughout the match.
Inside the ring, Spectre looked to soften up Romeo, hitting a impressive tilt-a-whirl DDT before following it up with the Phantom Scare (running C4) for a close two. Pounding the mat in anger, Spectre scaled the ropes, leaping off with a crossbody only to catch a dropkick to the ribs for his troubles. Romeo began to fight back, utilizing his speed based offense to wear down Spectre before signalling for the end. After a stunning Rocket Kick (Discus Big Boot), Romeo raised his hand in the air, ready to hit the Blackout (Handspring Shiranui). As Romeo looked to bounce off the ropes, the referee was distracted by Koji yelling at Migeru, the young pirate looking seconds away from attacking. Several students quickly ran over to separate the two, with Koji swearing that he would see Migeru soon enough. In the ensuing chaos, Archer was able to connect with a superkick to the upside down Romeo, causing him to collapse onto the mat. As the ref reentered the ring, Spectre had climbed the ropes, connecting with the Ghost to Coast (Phoenix Splash) for the tainted victory.
Result: Spectre (1-1) defeated Romeo Black (1-1) at 11:21 via Ghost to Coast (Phoenix Splash)
Archer began to wildly celebrate after the bell rang, pulling Spectre out before wrapping him in a big hug. Declaring that this proved Spectral Greatness was better, Archer carried Spectre to the back, loudly proclaiming “We Did It!”
Tag Team Invitational
The Mighty Now Thrive (Null & Kid Terra) (0-0) vs. Battleborn (James Price & Angel Torres) (1-0)
Right away the size difference was noticeable, as Kid Terra and Null were at least six inches shorter than their opponents. Nevertheless, TMNT were determined to make a good impression, quickly using their speed to stun the Limitless team. Stereo dives to the outside left Battleborn down and out on the mat as TMNT sprung to their feet, feeding off the energy from the crowd. Tossing Torres in, TMNT looked to grab the quick win after the Planet Shaker, but only got a close two count. Undeterred, Null looked to connect with a frog splash, but Torres rolled out of the way just in time. Dragging him to his feet, Torres tossed Null into the corner before tagging in Price.
What followed was a brutal display of power, as Battleborn looked to crush Null by sheer will. Powerbombs, side slams, anything and everything was done in an attempt to get the victory. Null slowly won over the crowd with his never say die attitude, continuing to kick out and fighting back when he could. It was as Battleborn looked to connect with a double spinebuster that Null found his chance, reversing it into a double DDT before making the desperate tag to Kid Terra. Terra came in guns blazing, taking Price down with leg kicks before a stunning Superkick sent him outside. Turning to Torres, Terra connected with a back kick before bouncing off the ropes, only to be met with a Boss Man Slam for a two. Sensing the advantage slipping, Torres looked for the end, putting Terra on his shoulders in a powerslam position. Terra managed to slide behind Torres before connecting with a second back kick before Null connected with the superkick, looking for another Planet Shaker. Before they could finish the move, Price returned, dumping Null on his head with a vicious back suplex that sent the masked marvel to the outside. Terra still went for the enzuigiri, only for Torres to duck underneath before pulling him off the mat. Throwing him in the air, Price snatched Terra on the way down, connecting with the Force of Nature (Grand Amplitude) for the victory.
Result: Battleborn (James Price and Angel Torres) (2-0) defeated The Mighty Now Thrive (Null and Kid Terra) (0-1) at 16:02 via Force of Nature (Grand Amplitude)
Post match, Battleborn shared a fist bump in the ring before heading to the back, happy with their victory. Null managed to roll into the ring before helping Kid Terra to his feet, the duo showered with praise from the fans. A “Please come back” chant erupted, causing TMNT to smile before heading to the back.
Intermission
TMNT were surprisingly swarmed by fans, a fact that Battleborn keenly noticed and were none too happy with. Ashley Cross made a surprise appearance, many guessing she was here to show support for her sister in her upcoming match. Many stopped by to wish her luck tomorrow at Rose City Fed, where she would take on former Queen of Roses Samantha Tolson and Angelica Vaughn in a triple threat match. KJB continued to have the students form a human shield around him, a sight that Michael Hayden was less than pleased with. Sharing quick words with KJB, Hayden quickly left, preparing for his match later in the night.
The Invitational
Honey (0-0) vs. Marilyn Lee Cross (0-0)
Fans were quick to welcome the debuting Honey, throwing golden streamers as she entered the ring. Marilyn got in on the act, requesting a streamer from a fan before tossing it in the air as well. Once the ring was cleared, Honey and Marilyn shared a handshake as the bell rung.
Marilyn seemed to be under slight pressure, looking to make sure that the Cross sisters didn’t go 0-2 this weekend. Taking the advantage early on, she looked to set up for the Criss Cross (Quackendriver II) by working over the neck. Honey fought back valiantly, avoiding a Meteora attempt before bouncing off the ropes and connecting with the Hiyah (Busaiku Knee) for a close two. Feeding off the crowd’s energy, Honey began to wear down Marilyn, including a strong German Suplex that sent Marilyn to the outside. Honey followed with an impressive dive off the top before bouncing up to her feet, a wide smile on her face as the fans cheered. Tossing Marilyn inside, Honey looked to connect with That Banned Move (Corner Shiranui), only for Marilyn to block the move by crotching her on the top. Climbing up, Marilyn hooked Honey, looking for a superplex. Sensing danger, Honey began to fire off forearms, stunning Marilyn long enough for Honey to connect with a hard elbow that sent Marilyn crashing to the mat. Marilyn stumbled to her feet, only for Honey to fly off the top, planting her with Honey’s Ultimagic (Spike DDT transitioned into a guillotine choke with body scissors)! Marilyn struggled for only a few moments before tapping out!
Result: Honey (1-0) defeated Marilyn Lee Cross (0-1) at 13:15 via Honey’s Ultimagic (Spike DDT into Guillotine Choke with Body Scissors)
Post match, Honey jumped to her feet in joy, elated to have gotten the victory. Showing class, Honey helped Marilyn to her feet, the two sharing a hug before making their way to the back.

Open Invitation Match
Michael Hayden (1-1) vs. ??
Michael Hayden (1-1) vs. ??
Rumors had been swirling since the announcement had been made, with many speculating a debut for the promotion. For his part, Hayden seemed unconcerned with whoever may appear, staring at the entrance way. The sounds of a TARDIS boomed throughout the building, sending the fans in a craze as they prepared themselves for a Time Lord battle. Sure enough, Anna Mathews stepped out to a raucous cheer, arguably one of the loudest pops in Limitless history. Hayden merely smiled as Anna entered the ring, preparing for the match.
The two Time Lords sized each other up as the bell rang, neither willing to back down to the other. Several words were traded before Hayden shot for a takedown, only to be stunned by a rising knee. Anna quickly took control, working over the Limitless founder with a multitude of kicks. Hayden looked to fight his way back, but the toll of last night’s match and skill of his opponent left him on the defensive, something Anna was happy to exploit. A quick succession of suplexes left Hayden dazed, completely open to the Dark Side of the Moon (Shining Triangle). Hayden struggled momentarily before placing his feet on the mat, using it as a base before lifting Anna into the air. Sensing danger, Anna used the momentum to swing out, landing a hurricanrana that sent Hayden to the outside, completely out of sorts.
Entering the ring, Hayden went for another takedown, this time catching the knee before hitting a dragon screw. Holding onto the leg, Hayden latched on a kneebar, torquing the leg until Anna could make it to the ropes. From there, Hayden went to work on the leg, showing another side that few had seen before. Anna was left limping as Hayden sized her up, looking to connect with the Hand of God (Spinning Backfist). As he spun, Anna ducked underneath before leaping onto his shoulders, surprising him by Laughing in the Face of War! Hayden just kicked out in time, though had only a second to breathe before a bicycle kick sent him back down to the mat. Looking for the end, Anna climbed to the top rope, careful to maintain her balance. Leaping off, Anna sailed with a beautiful corkscrew shooting star press, only for Hayden to roll out of the way as she crashed elbow-first into the mat. Quickly Hayden rushed forward, catching her in a La Magistral that Anna just managed to kick out of. Undeterred, Hayden picked Anna up, putting her in position for Haydenism. Before he could flip her over, Anna slipped out, catching him in a sunset flip. The ref barely had time to register before Hayden rolled out, catching her in a jacknife pin for the surprising three!
Result: Michael Hayden (2-1) defeated Anna Mathews (0-1) at 23:19 via jacknife pin.
Anna kicked out a moment after the pin was counted, unable to believe that the match had ended. Slapping the mat in anger, she made her way to her feet as Hayden rested in the corner. The fans began to cheer for both competitors as Hayden made his way over, extending his hand. Anna looked unsure given their history, but chose to accept before exiting the ring.
Post Show
- KJB quickly made a scene, declaring that he was supposed to be the one to answer the challenge instead of Anna. After he caught Hayden staring at him, KJB loudly declared that he would still be the biggest star Limitless had ever seen, storming to the back. The mood began to considerably lift, with several wrestlers (including TMNT, Anna Mathews, Honey, & Marilyn Lee Cross) taking pictures with the fans. Hayden was seen thanking Migeru Takahashi and Aimi Jun for visiting this weekend, something Koji Uchiha seemed to take offense to.
- As fans left, a few reported seeing KJB talk to a man dressed in black, though they could not identify who he was.
