Limitless Wrestling Presents
November Reign
November 17th, 2018
Pre-Show
- Once again much of the card was kept in the dark, save for the main event and Nate Anderson vs. Erik Holland. With that in mind, many of the talent could be seen eyeing one another, potentially sizing up their opponents
- Jake Archer was perhaps even more annoying than usual, loudly declaring that this would be the night that Lena Skye captured the Limitless Title. Lena smiled and nodded in agreement as Jake hyped her up, preferring to spend time in the company of Marilyn Lee Cross
- Similar to last month, Michael Hayden could be seen handing announcer Arya Stone a set of cards before patting her on the shoulder and heading towards the back.

Tag Team Match
The Mighty Now Thrive (Null & Kid Terra) vs. Knight n Day (Dakota Day & Jessica Knight)
As the bell rang, Jessica pointed a finger into Null’s chest, emphatically letting him know that she would emerge victorious tonight and erase the losses of the past. Turning to Terra, TMNT shared a shrug before Null turned back, connecting with a headbutt that sent Jessica down. TMNT enjoyed the early advantage, but a mistimed dropkick allowed Jessica to make the tag to Dakota before tossing Terra to the outside. Focusing on Null, the two began to wear him down, focusing on his neck in preparation for the Flashpoint. As they prepared to make Null Bend The Knee (Double Chokeslam), the Big Woofer flipped out before stunning both with a double hurricanrana! Crawling to his corner, Null made the much needed tag, bringing in the fresh Kid Terra. Taking it to both of his opponents, Terra dumped Jessica on the outside before surprising Dakota with a shotgun dropkick that sent her into the turnbuckles. Lifting Dakota up, Terra hoisted her on his shoulders as Null scaled the turnbuckles, looking for Pack Mentality (Doomsday Canadian Destroyer). As Null prepares to leap, Jessica appears on the apron, wrapping a hand around his throat before slamming him to the mat with a Knighthood Chokeslam! Inside the ring, Dakota counters with a roll up, holding on for the surprising three count!
Result: Knight n Day defeated The Mighty Now Thrive at 9:16 by pinfall via rollup
Special Challenge Match
Jana Rikar vs. Big Van Bulk
An interesting clash of styles took place as Jana Rikar and Big Van Bulk met inside the ring. Knowing she was at a disadvantage, Jana looked to use a hit and run strategy, staying out of Bulk’s grasp in the early going as she attacked the legs. Firing off several quick kicks, Jana bounced off the ropes, only to be surprised by a clothesline as Bulk flexed for the crowd. Bulk dominates a good portion of the match, even coming close after a Bulkbuster (Scrapbuster) that Jana barely manages to kick out of. It’s as he hoists her up for Nightmare Fuel (Psycho Driver) that Jana surprises him, latching on the Phoenix Pull (Bully Choke)! The big man struggles to stay standing, managing to toss Jana to the side as he struggles for breath. Turning around, he’s met with a hard elbow to the face before being pulled into the Feat of Demolition (Double Foot Eat Defeat), taking him down as Jana gets the hard fought victory.
Result: Jana Rikar defeated Big Van Bulk at 10:11 by pinfall via Feat of Demolition
Tag Team Match
DynaWolves (Kem Dynamo & Yona Blake) vs. Shoot Nation (Maverick & Ice Man)
The newly formed team of Kem Dynamo and Yona Blake were put to the test, taking on the seasoned team of Shoot Nation. Maverick and Ice Man seemed unimpressed with their opponents, managing to isolate Yona and work her over in the early stages of the match. Kem can only watch and Maverick and Ice Man weaken Yona, using a variety of tag moves while taunting the Burning Star. The crowd urges Yona on, though, giving her the strength to duck underneath a double clothesline before she springs off the middle rope for a crossbody. Shoot Nation catch her, only for Kem to rush in with a crossbody block of her own, taking Shoot Nation down! Dragging Yona to the corner, Kem made the quick tag, taking down both members with clotheslines and suplexes. Catching Maverick, Kem swings him around in a gutwrench before suplexing him with authority for a close two. Ice Man manages to break up the pin, only for Yona to come flying into the ring with a hurricanrana that sends him to the outside. Yona follows it up with a suicide dive, wiping them out. Inside the ring, Maverick connects with a lariat as the ref goes to check on Yona and Ice Man. It’s at this moment that NO MERSEY appear, attacking Maverick from behind before connecting with the Mersey Killing (Rope Hung DDT/Shooting Star Press) before running into the crowd. Kem is none the wiser as she manages to get to her feet, seeing Maverick down before climbing the ropes. Motioning to the crowd, Kem leaps off with a beautiful Shooting Star Press, crashing down onto Maverick before getting the three count.
Result: DynaWolves (Kem Dynamo & Yona Blake) defeated Shoot Nation (Maverick & Ice Man) at 13:47 by pinfall via Shooting Star Press
Special Challenge Match
Ian Hathaway vs. Eddy Poe
The two shared a respectful handshake before the bell started, both men sizing the other up before a lock up. It quickly became apparent that this would be a game of speed, as Poe looked to strike hard while Ian flew around the ring. Struggling to get a hold of his opponent, Poe found himself fighting from underneath for a good portion of the match while Ian flourished. Lifting Poe on his shoulders, Ian went to hit the Ego Trip (Detonation Kick), only for Poe to land on his feet before connecting with a double stomp to the ribs. Sensing the tide shift, Poe began to use his striking game to wear down Ian. Firing off several muay thai knees to the midsection, Eddy connected with a followed up with the Black Mass kick for a near fall. Undeterred, Eddy began to size his opponent up, ready to connect with the Tenshi No Yah (Running Forearm). As he rushed forward, Ian ducked underneath the running forearm before kipping up, catching Eddy with a soccerball kick to the chest as Eddy looked to get to his feet. Grabbing the wrist, Ian connected with a ripcord elbow smash, keeping a hold of the wrist before connecting with the Spiritual Guide (Wristlock Springboard Cutter) for the win.
Result: Ian Hathaway defeated Eddy Poe at 13:28 by pinfall via Spiritual Guide (Wristlock Springboard Cutter)
INTERMISSION
Jake Archer immediately swarmed the merchandise tables, holding a handmade sign that all but declared Lena Skye as the new Limitless champion. Fans lined up to take pictures with Lena and Jake, with many asking for the sign to be included. Marilyn was off to the side with the DynaWolves, celebrating their victory earlier in the show. A small scuffle broke out as Shoot Nation and NO MERSEY confronted one another, the two teams shoving one another before students rushed to separate them both. As students worked to calm the situation, Elijah Cross and Skye Healy could be seen discussing something, with several tissues visible in her hand.
Tag Team Match
Limitless (Michael Hayden & Skye Healy) vs. NO MERSEY (Gaz McGuinty & Nathan Wayne)
Before the match could fully get underway, Hayden and Skye could be seen in deep discussion before talking with Arya Stone. A quick discussion was had before Arya announced that Skye was unable to compete tonight due to illness, which was met with resounding boos. Nevertheless, a replacement was named, as Elijah Cross came out looking a lot more confident than he did at Big Apple Wrestling just a few weeks ago. Shaking hands with Hayden, Elijah gave Skye a hug as she chose to remain at ringside.
While Elijah was trained directly by Michael Hayden, the two struggled early on to find chemistry. Gaz and Nathan were all to happy to exploit this, isolating the younger Elijah and working him over. Almost getting pleasure out of it, the two looked to break the young rookie as they took turns chopping him, leaving welts as he stumbled out of the corner. A double back suplex seemed to spell the end, but Elijah managed to flip out before stumbling backwards into a tag from Hayden.
Springboarding off the ropes, Hayden took both men down with a crossbody before tossing Nathan outside, choosing to work over Gaz. A spinning backfist followed by a dragon suplex only managed to get a two count before Nathan broke up the pin. Tossing Hayden to the corner, Nathan and Gaz looked to hit a double superplex, not noticing Elijah make the tag as they hit the move. Crashing down with a frog splash, Elijah only managed to get a near fall. Tossing Nathan to the corner, Elijah gave a thumbs up to Skye before rushing in for the Skye Scraper (Helluva Kick)! Nathan managed to move just in time, causing Elijah to crash in the corner before being taken down by a snap German suplex. Gaz tossed Hayden to the outside before the two grabbed Elijah, setting him up for the Mersey Killing. As Nathan went for the springboard, Shoot Nation made their way to ringside, stopping him in his tracks. Nathan stepped outside, daring the two men to hit him and get the DQ. Inside the ring, Gaz looked to hit the Devoed-DT, only for Elijah to kick off the ropes! Trapping him in a pinfall, Elijah held on, managing to get the three!
Result: Elijah Cross & Michael Hayden defeated NO MERSEY (Gaz McGuinty & Nathan Wayne) at 14:13 by pinfall via roll-up
No sooner did the bell ring than Elijah rolled to the outside, shock and joy on his face as he held his arm up in victory. Shoot Nation smirked as Nathan rolled into the ring, confirming with Gaz as to what just happened. Incensed, Gaz demanded a mic before stating that things had gone on long enough. It was clear that something needed to be done, so he was challenging Shoot Nation to a match next month. Nodding in agreement, Maverick and Ice Man made their way to the back, ready to end things once and for all.
Special Challenge Match
Nate Anderson vs. Erik Holland
Sharing a handshake to start the match, Nate began to strike quickly, knowing that he had an uphill battle. As he went for a clothesline, Holland countered with an overhead belly to belly, sending Nate crashing to the mat before rolling to the outside for safety. Holland followed, using the ring as a weapon as he delivered a backdrop directly onto the apron. Tossing Nate inside, Erik began to wear down Boston’s Favorite Son, moving him through a variety of suplexes before tossing him into the corner for a stinging Mongolian Chop. As Holland lifted him up for In The Mouth of Madness (Greetings From Asbury Park), Nate began to slide back, catching Erik with a reverse DDT. Surprised, Nate went for a lionsault, managing a close two count.
Feeding off the crowd, Nate began to build momentum, managing to stun Holland with a variety of high flying moves. Feeling the energy, Nate went for the Jaw Wired Shut (Superkick), only for Holland to catch before pulling him into a lariat. Letting out a snarl, Holland lifted Nate up, connecting with a vicious Chopping Mall (Double Underhook Shoulderbreaker) for a close two. Motioning for the end, Holland connected with Plan 9 From Outer Space (Superman Punch) before reaching down, preparing for Project: Gabriel (Pedigree). As he struggled to get Nate up, nate surprised everyone by spinning out, firing off the Jaw Wired Shut! And another! Three times! Holland stumbled before letting out a roar, rushing forward with a clothesline. Nate ducked underneath before bouncing off the ropes, connecting with the Boston Knee Party! Taking no chances, Nate sprang to the top rope, flying off perfectly with the One Giant Leap For Mankind (Shooting Star Press), hooking the legs for a surprising victory!
Result: Nate Anderson defeated Erik Holland at 17:24 by pinfall via One Giant Leap For Mankind (Shooting Star Press)
Nate celebrated his victory, ecstatic at having managed to take down the more experienced Holland. It was during this celebration that Holland made it to his feet, staring Nate down before shaking his hand. Raising it in celebration, Holland gave him a pat on the back before exiting the ring, giving Nate his moment in the son.
Main Event
Limitless Title Match
Joe Stanton © vs. Lena Skye w/ Jake Archer
Much like last month, Joe Stanton appeared changed, the circles around his eyes deeper as he stoically stared Lena down. Lena seemed unimpressed, staring at the title before motioning to Jake Archer that she would be leaving with the belt. Referee Molly Wheeler signaled for the bell, prompting the two to rush into the center of the ring and exchange strikes. Joe used his height advantage to gain the advantage, backing Lena in the corner before assaulting her with punches and chops. Molly began the count, only for Lena to duck underneath the punch before beginning to fire off several shots of her own. Snapmaring him into the center of the ring, Lena fired off a stiff kick, Joe’s face twisting in pain.
Lena continued to work Joe over, using her ground and pound style to weaken the neck area. Jake Archer loudly cheered for his client as Lena connected with a big boot, spinning Joe around before dumping him with a German Suplex. Joe rolled through with the move catching Lena with a Rock ‘n Roll Rolling Belly to Belly. Keeping his hands locked, Joe lifted Lena up before hitting another Rock ‘n Roll suplex that left her gasping for breath. Joe began to punish Lena, tossing her around with ease. Jake Archer struggled on the outside, pleading with the ref to force Joe back on several occasions when Lena was in the ropes. Having enough, Joe rolled to the outside as Jake and Molly were arguing, ripping him off the apron and hitting him with Crossroad Blues (Cobra Clutch Slam). Sneering, Joe turned around only to be caught off guard by a suicide dive from Lena! Getting to her feet, Lena checked on Jake briefly before turning back to Joe, giving him a few stomps before tossing him into the ring.
Smelling blood, Lena continued her ground and pound technique, connecting with several forearm strikes to the back of the neck before being admonished by Ref Molly. Backing away rather than risk disqualification, Lena took her place in the corner, sizing Joe up. As Joe made it to his feet, Lena rushed forward, connecting with her Tornado Warning (Discus Big Boot) for a close two count. Undeterred, Lena pounced as Joe rolled onto his stomach, looking to lock in From The Heavens! Joe struggled to avoid the rear naked choke as the fans cheered, urging Lena on to get the submission. As she pulled back, hands almost fully wrapped, Joe pushed himself backward into a pinning position. Releasing the hold just before three, Lena got to her feet only to be caught with a Flash Kick! Stumbling back in a daze, Lena was unable to stop Joe from grabbing hold, lifting her up and connecting with Funeral For A Daughter (Tombstone Piledriver). Driving her into the mat, Joe collapsed on top of her, getting the three in a thrilling main event.
Result: Joe Stanton © defeated Lena Skye at 20:41 by pinfall via Funeral For A Daughter (Tombstone Piledriver)
Post match, Joe fought back to his feet, collecting the title as Marilyn Lee Cross and Jake Archer pulled her out of the ring. Joe watched the trio head to the back before raising his title, a feral look in his eyes. It was as he went to leave that the sounds of chanting could be heard as Ian Hathaway stepped out to cheers from the crowd. No words were spoken as the two stared at one another, Ian making the belt motion before bowing and taking his leave. Joe stood in the ring for only a few moments before exiting as well, a solemn look in his eye.
