Preshow Tag Team Match
Baewatch vs. Jack Danielson & Reventon
Baewatch was represented by Cadets Andrew Thomas and Barry Allen, with Holliday on the outside nursing an injury. Jack Danielson and Reventon, teaming together for the first time, looked to impress the fans as well as management. Danielson had tag team experience with Andrew Wilkow as "Brew Collar", relying on that experience to keep his team in the match through the early portions. Twice it seemed as though Baewatch had the victory, but Jack would be there to break the pin, often dragging Reventon out from underneath his opponent and towards the corner for a tag. It was on the third attempt that Thomas had enough, running around the ring to pull Danielson off the apron before dropping him with a DDT. Holliday and Allen were quick to confront their friend, the trio meeting outside the ring. A brief discussion took place amongst the members of Baewatch, allowing Reventon to shake some of the cobwebs out and recover. Getting to his feet, Reventon rushed forward, diving onto all three members of Baewatch! Crawling to his feet, Reventon slid into the ring, making the tag!
Jack came in a house of fire, taking it to Allen and Thomas with clotheslines and hip tosses. Lifting Allen to his feet, Jack looked to go for the Dishonorable Discharge (X Plex), only for Allen to duck down as Thomas came flying with a leaping back elbow. The two worked together, connecting with High Tide (Total Elimination) for a near fall before Reventon broke up the pin. This time Allen was on board as the two worked over Reventon, lifting him up for the Hang Ten (Double Chokeslam). Reventon was able to flip out, landing on his feet before connecting with a dropkick to Allen's knee. Thomas caught Reventon with a basement superkick in response, only for Jack to come back strong with the Great American Bash (Roaring Forearm). Jack barely had time to react before Allen dumped him with a Falcon Arrow! He did the deal!
The action continued as everyone made their way to their feet, Allen nailing Jack with a clothesline that sent both men over the top rope. Back inside, Thomas caught Reventon with a release German suplex, taking a moment to pose for the fans. Turning back to Reventon, Thomas lifted him onto the turnbuckles before connecting with a leaping uppercut. Thomas climbed the ropes, looking for a superplex attempt. But Reventon wasn't completely out of it, firing off several shots to the midsection before a headbutt sent him crashing to the mat. On the outside, Allen looked to help his partner, but Jack pulled him into a backdrop right onto the apron. Sliding in the ring, Jack tossed Reventon at a rising Thomas, cutting him in two with the Gore! Reventon made the cover as Jack kept watch, getting the three count in an impressive opener.
